What is Awestudy?

This is a micro study group with a book club mindset that is formed periodically to help Citizens discuss, network and brainstorm on certain topics.
Awestudy requires no special subscription as it is open call like InnerFam and Wedding Vows.

Awestudy does not just serve as an accountability group where you mark attendance; it is built around the ideology of mental warfare – confronting yourself. This means you go to the study group that caters to your area of weakness instead of one where you are strongest and can show off.

Awestudy member distribution happens in groups of 6-10, around specific content (books, movies, programs, documentaries etc). Members are expected to research and contribute meaningfully.

Awestudy run for 6 weeks (long enough for discussions and short enough to retain your attention span) at a time to form a session. Sessions run concurrently (across different topics) but not consecutively so that Citizens have time to utilize what they learned.

Can I attend multiple Awestudies?

Awestudy sessions run concurrently and not consecutively which makes it difficult to be in multiple sessions at once. A non-working citizen can (as it is an opportunity to develop). However, we do not recommend it as sessions are usually intense and Citizens are expected to rest and engage with the real world otherwise, the purpose of learning is greatly defeated.

Long term plan
We recommend that you play the long-term game which is
• Make a long list of all the reasons why you joined Awedacity Nation
• Rearrange that list in order of importance
• Curate a list of content that matches your list
If any topic on your list has not been addressed yet, do well to recommend it through member channels
• Check for the list of scheduled Awestudy sessions and match your priorities.

If you stay updated with the calendar, you will successfully participate in five Awestudy sessions a Year that cater to your most important needs.
